The greatest human inventions are, in my opinion, the below:
1. Fire
2. Paper
3. Bread
4. The wheel
5. Cement
According to Wikipedia, the earliest known paper fragment was discovered in china and is dated 2nd century AD. Paper is what allowed us, for centuries, to pass on the knowledge to the next generation. Without it, our minds wouldn't be challenged by the great minds of our past which would of greatly have slowed our growth as a specie.
