Self growth: Reward and Frustration

Self growth is not easy but it’s worth it. There’s 2 approach you can take in order to better yourself, each comes with different feelings.

1. Self analysis: Reading books on the subject, and finding your faults, is very rewarding but is less effective than Mentorship.

2. Mentorship: Having someone tell you your faults ain’t fun. Only when you feel that your self analysis is not moving you forward fast enough (which should be always); should you seek a mentor. This process, while being the frustrating one, is very effective because your integrity is on the line. You told your mentor that you wanted to change and he tells you what to work on, you have to prove to him that you can change.
