An Age of Virtual Heroes (part 2)

At one point, there was debate as of whether golf was a sport or not. I recently came across something online that made me wonder what sport was all together. It’s something called “Esport” (video game competition).

Have we become so lazy that we now consider a video game a sport?

My idea of sport is something that requires more of a physical activity than moving a mouse around. Yes sports is about skills and competition and it is found in video games but is it enough to consider it a sport? Will tic-tac-toe/chess/Monopoly ever be named a sport? Or is the “esport” concept just an attempt to keep a game alive until the new version come out?
